Welcome to Little Wild Souls! We specialise in creating memorable, customised workshops and activations for children's parties, adult events (such as Sip & Craft), and corporate functions across New Zealand.

By making a booking or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Non-Refundable Deposit

  • Deposit: To secure your event date and start the custom planning/sourcing process, a non-refundable deposit of $350 NZD is required at the time of booking.

  • Confirmation: Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and written confirmation is issued by Little Wild Souls.

  • Holds: Dates cannot be held tentatively without a deposit.

2. Final Payments & Guest Numbers

  • Final Guest Count: Final guest counts must be confirmed in writing no later than 7 days prior to the event date. This number will determine the final invoice and materials prepared.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to the event date.

  • Decreased Numbers: If guest numbers decrease within 7 days of the event, no refund or partial deduction will be issued, as materials and custom elements will have already been purchased/prepared.

  • Increased Numbers: If guest numbers increase within 7 days, we will do our best to accommodate additional guests subject to material availability. Additional charges will apply and must be settled prior to or on the event day.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellation by Customer:

    • If you cancel more than 14 days prior to the event, the $350 deposit remains non-refundable, but any additional final payments made will be refunded.

    • If you cancel within 14 days of the event, the deposit and any progress payments made are non-refundable to cover pre-purchased perishable/custom materials and lost booking potential.

  • Rescheduling:

    • If you need to reschedule your event, please notify us as early as possible.

    • Rescheduling more than 14 days prior to the event: Your $350 deposit can be transferred to a new available date within 6 months.

    • Rescheduling within 14 days of the event: A rescheduling fee may apply if custom/perishable supplies have already been prepped or if team schedules cannot be rearranged.

  • Cancellation by Little Wild Souls: In the unlikely event that Little Wild Souls must cancel due to illness, emergency, or severe unforeseen circumstances, a full refund (including the deposit) will be provided, or we will work with you to reschedule.

4. Travel Fees & Access

  • Travel Charges: Travel fees are calculated based on distance/travel time and will be clearly outlined on your quote prior to booking confirmation.

  • Parking & Loading: The client must ensure suitable parking and clear loading/unloading access is available near the setup area. Any parking fees or permits required are the responsibility of the client.

5. Client Responsibilities & Setup Environment

To ensure a safe and successful event, the client agrees to provide:

  • Space & Surface: Adequate space for set-up, guest movement, as well as a clean, level, and dry surface.

  • Facilities: Access to clean running water, electricity (if required for specific crafts/activations), and shelter/shade for outdoor events.

  • Safety & Cleanliness: A safe, hazard-free, and hygienic environment for our staff and guests.

  • Outdoor Events: An indoor or fully covered backup space in the case of adverse weather (rain, excessive wind, or high heat). Little Wild Souls reserves the right to decline setting up in unsafe weather conditions without refund.

6. Supervision, Behavior & Health / Safety

  • Child Supervision (Kids' Parties): Little Wild Souls instructors facilitate the craft/activation, but primary supervision and adult care remain the responsibility of the host/parents at all times. At least one adult host must remain on-site.

  • Sensitivities & Allergies: Clients must notify Little Wild Souls in writing of any known allergies or skin sensitivities (e.g., glues, paints, botanical items, face paints) for participating guests at least 7 days prior to the event.

  • Behavior: Little Wild Souls reserves the right to step back or suspend an activation if behavior becomes unsafe, disruptive, or dangerous to staff, equipment, or other guests.

7. Damage & Photography

  • Damage to Property: While our activities are designed to be fun and manageable, craft activities can occasionally get messy. Little Wild Souls is not liable for stains, spills, or minor damage to personal clothing, furniture, flooring, or venues. Hosts are encouraged to protect sensitive flooring/furniture.

  • Damage to Equipment: The client is responsible for any damage to or loss of Little Wild Souls’ tools, tables, or equipment caused by willful misuse or negligence by event guests.

  • Photography & Media: We love capturing moments! We will only take photos/videos for promotional and social media use with prior consent (specifically for children's events). You may opt out of media coverage at any time in writing.

8. Alcohol Policy (Adult / Sip & Craft Events)

  • For adult events involving alcohol (e.g., Sip & Craft workshops):

    • Little Wild Souls does not supply or sell alcohol unless specifically licensed/arranged.

    • Guests are responsible for drinking responsibly. Little Wild Souls reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who is visibly intoxicated or unsafe.

9. Force Majeure & Governing Law

  • Unforeseen Events: Neither party shall be liable for delays or cancellations caused by acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, or government restrictions.

  • Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
